Preparing antenatally

Are you thinking about breastfeeding or breast milk feeding? Would you like more information about choosing to feed your baby, to discuss past experiences, expectations or worries about breastfeeding. You may even want some help and support with expressing breast milk antenatally. Koala Bosom Buddies know the importance of getting as much information about becoming a parent, before the baby arrives. Parents are welcome to attend our breastfeeding support groups, or to visit our Facebook support group for information or support.

Once baby has arrived

Our support is offered by friendly mums who have experience, training and time to spend with you ‘getting started’ after the baby has arrived.

We are here to go through anything you aren’t sure about and offer ongoing breastfeeding support. Some women can struggle getting started, but with a little support and access to up to date information, mums who choose to breastfeed can do so for as long as they wish.

Parents attending breastfeeding support groups can drop in and see us at any point in their breastfeeding journey. Some parents will attend for social reasons, to meet local parents, others will be looking for information and support.
